The Loire Valley is world famous for its fairy tale chateaux. Le Clos is situated at the edge of the village of Vernoil le Fourrier.  Here, just a few minutes down the road you will find the local boulangerie, bar and supermarket.

Le Clos is a comfortable 20-minute drive from Saumur, renowned for its own Chateau, wine and excellent restaurants.  It is an inspiring town, dominated by its grand 14th century chateau with turrets and soaring slate roofs. Narrow streets wind down from the chateau to the central square of Place Saint Pierre, where there are restaurants, street cafes and chic shops. A lovely place for an afternoon stroll, wander in and out of the wide variety of boutiques, or enjoy people watching at one of the many pavement cafes.
